Luke Banister, a graduate of Genoa Central High School and son of Jason and Lesli Banister, was recently awarded a Lineman Training Scholarship from Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative to Arkansas State University-Newport. The scholarship is valued at $3,500 and cover books and tuition.
